Art After Dark isn’t happening in December, but you can still get your fill of art at these venues:

Anam-Cre’ Pottery Studio: 570 Higuera #140 (SLO Creamery) 544-1850. Classes for children and adults.

apRoberts Arts: 570 Higuera #152 (SLO Creamery) 234-506.  Jimmy apRoberts and Brian Christopher work in a collaborative nature.

ARTS Space Obispo: 570 Higuera #165 (SLO Creamery) 544-9251. A unique light installation that promises a reprieve from the bustling energy of the holiday season.

Frame Works: 339 Marsh 542-9000. Art Eco, a group exhibition featuring green design through re-appropriation. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Land Conservancy.

GALA Center: 1060 Palm 541-4252. Works of Steven deLuque.

The Gallery at the Network: 778 Higuera, in the Network 788-0886. Annual Artful Holiday Gift Show with unique and handcrafted original works of art.

Hands Gallery: 777 Higuera 543-1921. Handmade ornaments and unique gifts.

Linnaea’s Café: 1110 Garden 541-5888. Holiday art sale, “Hang It All,” a group show, returns to Linnaea’s. Original art by local artists all under $100. The Photo Shop: 1027 B Marsh 543-4025. David Meyers’ “The Adventure of Photography” featuring color photography.

Picking Daisies, Beautiful Napkins for Everyday Use: 570 Higuera #120 (SLO Creamery) 783-2434. Lorna Teixeira shows her latest works combining plaster, pigments, and wax, creating images with multi-layered textural patterns.

SLO Art Center: 1010 Broad, in Mission Plaza 543-8562. “Dimensions: Juried Exhibition of Fine Craft,” “CraftArt Market” handmade gifts by 40+ artists; “Free for All” handmade prints, “John Barnard: Watercolor Paintings.”

SLO Co. Historical Society: 696 Monterey 543-0638.

Stephen Patrick Design: 888 Monterey 544-3326. Featuring the work of eight talented artists. Canvas, jewelry, custom furniture.

Steynberg Gallery: 1531 Monterey 547-0278. New paintings by Mark Bryan. The show is titled “Hard Times.” It shows until Jan. 10.
