It’s November, and you all know what that means. Yes, it’s time again for National Pomegranate Month, so get out your bibs because those seeds are messy. OK, that’s not what November is about. It’s holiday season, so that means it’s time to be thinking about gifts. If you’re thinking about getting something extra unique, you’re in luck. For the past 27 years, the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art has been offering a trove of art and craft goods at its Craft Art Market.

Throughout late November and December, you’ll be able to purchase a variety of objects made by local artists. According to the press release, there will be scarves, handbags, ceramics, ornaments, prints, paintings, glass, and home décor items to choose from. It’s a cornucopia far better than those Thanksgiving ones your relatives use as table centerpieces. All they have is wax fruit. Nobody likes wax fruit.

SLOMA’s Craft Art Market takes place Nov. 20 through Dec. 31 in the museum’s Nybak Wing. SLOMA is located 1010 Broad St. in San Luis Obispo. It is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For more information, visit sloma.org.
