Cru Vin Dogs 2005 Chardonnay

Dog lovers are going to embrace this new brand: At least 10 percent of all sales are donated to charitable organizations benefiting man’s best friend. And I’m happy to report their easy-drinking wines aren’t dogs either. I enjoyed the delicious aromas and flavors of ripe pears, apples, and nectarines in this fruity Chardonnay that’s highlighted with notes of honeysuckle and spice. It’s a lovely wine that’s delicious alone and is very food friendly. Tangy citrus and mineral notes give it elegance. A good choice for roast chicken, Dungeness crab with drawn butter, and white clam sauce over pasta. Available for only $16 retail, it’s a good value wine that’s sure to impress  you and your guests.
