I thoroughly enjoyed this elegant white wine for its nectarine and tropical flavors with really juicy citrus and fine mineral notes. It’s a wine you’ll find makes a wonderful aperitif, and it’s equally enjoyable at the table. This value label from Tablas Creek is made from grapes specially selected from 11 top Rhone-producing vineyards in Paso Robles. It’s a rich, white blend made up of 45 percent Grenache Blanc, 34 percent Viognier, 18 percent Roussanne, and 3 percent Marsanne. It’s a great choice for chicken chile verde, a shrimp salad with tropical fruit, and delicate white fish. A very good buy at only $20 in the tasting room, wine club members pay $16.
