• A recent article (“A love affair with antiquity,” Feb. 14) incorrectly cited the ethnicity of a woman named Aspasia, the live-in lover of Pericles, the Athenian general referenced in the piece. She was in fact from Miletus, a Greek city-state in present-day Turkey.
• An article regarding board member Debbie Peterson’s call for an audit of the South County Sanitation District (“New board member wants a Wallace review,” Feb. 14) misstated the target of her proposed review, which is actually the district and its wastewater treatment plant. Also, a quote attributed to district counsel Mike Seitz was factually incorrect; the discussion of a review was indeed an agendized item of the meeting.
