The San Luis Coastal Teachers Association is proud to endorse Phil Angel for a seat on the San Luis Coastal Unified School Board. With more than 400 local teachers represented by SLCTA, we hope the public will join us in an effort to elect Phil Angel to this important position.

Phil Angel is a longtime teacher, and he and his wife currently teach in the South County area. They have a daughter enrolled in one of our local elementary schools. With Adrienne Dickinson leaving (and we thank her warmly for her support for students and teachers), Phil Angel will add an essential teacher’s perspective to the current school board.

SLCTA would also like to thank the other candidates who are running for this position as well they stepped up to the plate when we needed potential educational leaders. SLCTA would especially like to thank Laurence Houlgate-West who decided to withdraw from the race, but graciously decided to recommend his supporters vote for Phil Angel.
