Yes, Joe Erikat, Steve Moss was a public figure and, I would add, a public servant. Under the leadership of Mr. Moss, New Times provided sponsorship for hundreds, possibly thousands, of arts events, athletic activities, community festivals, and educational programs. To have his life profiled in print was one way to honor his far-reaching contributions.
