NEW TIMES: Why did you move your store in downtown SLO?
BRAY: It’s just a better location, with more space and more foot traffic. Our old space was quite small, and our new location allows us to have more inventory and a better selection to choose from.

NEW TIMES: What was the community’s response to your relocation to 850 Higuera Street?
BRAY: People have said that they think a location such as this suits our store much better, and allows the presentation of our products to be much more attractive.

NEW TIMES: Did you encounter any obstacles in relocating your store?
BRAY: It was rather hectic in making the move on such short notice, especially during the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. But the opportunity to get this space arose around Thanksgiving, and since I’d been looking at the spot for quite a while I had to pounce on it when I could.

NEW TIMES
: What are you looking forward to this year?
BRAY: We’re going to enhance our selection of engagement and wedding rings, and we just launched the Chamilia line of bracelets and necklaces, for which we’re the sole distributor in the area. We’ll also be having a grand opening in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

NEW TIMES
: What do you feel distinguishes your store from others in the area?
BRAY: We strive to have the perfect engagement ring or gift at a price that anyone can afford. I believe that our new location brings a bigger selection of quality jewelry to downtown San Luis Obispo. ∆
