When it comes to special meals, during the holidays or any other time, my first choice is always Pinot Noir. That said, this is one of those Pinots you’ll want to have on hand when you want to impress your dinner guests. I totally enjoyed this delicious Pinot Noir for it vibrant red and black fruit flavors and impressive balance. The blackberry and black cherry aromas and flavors are nicely offset by notes of tart red cranberry and briar. It’s a great choice for roasted poultry, grilled steaks, prime rib, or rack of lamb. It’s available at Tastes of the Valleys Pismo for $30 retail.
