Send young Picassos with too much time on their hands to the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art’s first session of summer art classes for kids from June 19 to 23.
Kids ages 7 and 8 can discover the shapes, colors, and textures in nature by creating drawings and paintings inspired by plants, trees, streams, and habitats. They’ll also create still-life drawings using pencil, charcoal, and pastel. The cost is $165 for members and $195 for nonmembers. Visit sloma.org for more information.
