Figueroa Mountain Brewery (figmtnbrew.com) has opened a new taproom in Santa Maria, and offers live music, game nights, and comfort food—including tri-tip marinated in Davy Brown Ale for sandwiches. Yes, you heard that right. ... Get out of the garage: Tickets are now on sale for the third annual Santa Ynez Valley-based "Garagiste Festival: Southern Exposure," which will feature more than 60 of the area's hard-to-find, micro-production commercial "garagistes" (that's French for garage—where many renegade winemakers and rockstars have honed their crafts). The underground wine explosion kicks off March 27 through 29 and is sure to expose your palate to new and interesting flavors (check out the details californiagaragistes.com).

Splash Cafe has won the 2015 Wedding Wire Couple's Choice Award, given out based on reviews and feedback from brides married in 2014. That's a heck of a lot of happy brides! ... Tablas Creek Vineyard's general manager and partner Jason Haas presented a $7,532 donation to must! Charities earlier this month (all funds go toward feeding, funding, and helping local families in the community) ... Country fans rejoice! Willie Nelson will perform with Alison Krauss and Union Station at Vina Robles Amphitheater, Paso's state-of-the-art outdoor venue/wine tasting room this July 21 (get tickets before they sell out at vinaroblesamphitheatre.com) ... Launched in 2013 to celebrate and promote cabernet sauvignon and red Bordeaux varietals produced in Paso Robles, the Paso Robles Cab Collective is gearing up for even greater offerings in 2015.
