Cimarrón's powerful Joropo music achieves a unique blend of Andalusian, Indigenous American, and African roots. The ensemble includes a four-stringed cuatro, harp, maracas, Peruvian-flamenco cajón, Brazilian surdo, and Afro-Colombian tambura.
