I recently moved to a home near the DeVaul/ Sunny Acres ranch. During the holiday season I stopped by to purchase some produce on the recommendation of my new neighbor. I found it to be a good experience. The worker at the DeVaul ranch was very gracious to my children and went out of his way to help them understand how much money they had and what treats it would get them. They chose tomatoes.
I know that some folks have an issue with the amount of “junk” Sunny Acres has. As a newbie to the neighborhood I notice that many of the houses on Foothill and O’Connor Way, just around the corner, have as much junk and look as bad as some say the ranch looks. No one notices those properties because they don’t know anything about the folks who live there. From my experience, Sunny Acres is doing a good job of helping people and they are trying to be good neighbors. I encourage everyone involved to drop the criminal charges and keep working toward positive solutions to the remaining issues.
