• The June 30 story, “Bear killed for eating chickens,” identified a wrong agency involved. The trapper was provided by the Wildlife Services Division of U.S. Department of Agriculture.

• In the June 30 Art Bash column, the musician for Last Friday’s after party at SLO Donut Co. was misidentified. The performer was Brook Thompson.

• The June 30 story “Face painting” misattributed a first-hand account of being painted by David Settino Scott. The writer of that account was actually Steve Caparone.

• An article regarding Pacific Gas & Electric’s request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to reclassify the seismic threat posed by the Hosgri Fault (“There’s nothing new or different here,” June 30) misstated PG&E’s assessment of the Hosgri’s potential magnitude. PG&E estimates the Hosgri is capable of producing up to a 7.1-magnitude earthquake.
