The grand tasting kicks off on May 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is set in the lush meadows surrounding the pink palace. Also enjoy an Arts and Drafts Connoisseur Tasting happening at the inn on May 22 with craft beer and local food offerings paired to perfection alongside Soundhouse, Relion, Dan Curcio, and visual arts galore (tickets available at www.californiafestivalofbeers.com; benefit for Hospice SLO) … word is out! Gaviota Grill will serve as the coastal town’s only rooftop patio dining, serving up Mexican fusion cuisine (725 Embarcadero St.) … With their fresh baked bread and incredible lunch specials (veggie curry, pulled pork Banh mi sandos, and such), Breaking Bread Bakery has become my new mid-day obsession.
