Disappointed by Cuesta cuts

As a retired senior citizen, when I went back to school several years ago, I didn’t go to get a better job or find a career. I went to learn. I have to say my time at Cuesta College has been time well spent. Without exception, it has been my distinct pleasure to meet and be taught by some of the most prepared, supportive, dedicated professors you’ll find.

It has been a profound loss to have so many teachers layed off or terminated and classes cut. There is enough wealth, waste, and untapped resources in this Golden State to not only save our schools, but to build on the solid foundation of the former students who have become the teachers we have today. Our children, some of them future teachers, will thank us.
