I am new to being involved in local government. I have been attending the board of supervisors meetings and have an observation to make. I do not feel represented or heard by three of the current board members. I feel that decisions are made against the citizens of SLO County, and most do not even know it because they are not in attendance.

So I have sought out a solution and have interviewed and have attended many events that Dr. Ed Waage has been speaking at. I have asked and re-asked my questions of concern and am pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Waage's a well-educated man on any subject I have a concern about. Dr. Waage's depth on issues that affect me was refreshing. I was not talked down to as Mr. Hill has done, but given an opportunity to ask until I was satisfied.

Dr. Waage will add this needed dimension to the board of supervisors and he has earned my vote in June 5 election.
