Kids at Sea isn't the name of the latest reality television show. It's a program sponsored by the Morro Bay Commercial Fishermen's Organization, designed to introduce kids to fishing, boating safety, and "the incredible experience of being on the ocean." A seminar will be held at 5 p.m. on March 22 at the Morro Bay Veterans Building. It will feature a barbecue, auction, and raffle for an $8 donation.
The Wellness Community Central Coast is holding a grand opening celebration of their Paso Robles facility. It offers no-charge "education, emotional support, and hope for people with cancer and their loved ones." The ceremony is 5 p.m. on March 26 at 614 13th St. in Paso Robles. RSVP to Eva Reagan at 238-4411, ext 12.
