To honor America's workforce, Quota International of San Luis Obispo will host its 17th annual "Salute to Staff" luncheon on April 23 at 11:45 a.m. at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. April is National Autism Awareness Month and Playpath Therapy, a pediatric occupational therapy facility for children with autism, will host an open house on April 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at its office in Grover Beach at 750 Farroll Rd., Suite E. Lawrence Bardach, occupational therapist and owner of Playpath Therapy, said the open house is a chance to educate people about autism and how autism can be treated. The clinic helps autistic and other children with behavior, attention, and sensory disorder to develop self-regulation, thinking, communication, and relating skills.
