The landmark 1917 building located at 740 W. Foothill Blvd. in SLO has housed a lot of business over the years, from the Callaway House to This Old House to AJ Spurs and, most recently, Pinky Carmines. The latest incarnation, The Clubhouse at This Old House, seeks to honor the community's long history with the site with local stories from the past. Currently, they're accepting original short stories about the property. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place with gift certificates to the new restaurant. The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce holds its annual Business Expo April 11 at the Paso Robles Event Center. This year's theme is "Tropical Treasures Discovering the Treasure of Local Business." The event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. For more info, call 238-0506.

Several local wine industry insiders, including the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance and Central Coast Vineyard Team, are collaboratively asking, "How Sustainable is Your Winery or Vineyard?" Giuseppe's Restaurante announced the addition of a brand-new take-out restaurant to its family of fine Italian dining establishments. The new location is at 800 Price St. in Pismo Beach, right across from the original location. The new shop will feature fresh-made pastries and food from their original menu, as well as some new sandwiches, salads, and pizzas.
