Women in our society face a number of gender-based economic challenges. A group of local organizations that support women’s economic independence will present a seminar designed to chart the path of “Women’s Way to Wealth:† From Paycheck to Prosperity� � on Saturday, May 20th, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Cal Poly’s University Union, room 220. 
 
Keynote speaker, Phil Cisneros of Cisneros Consulting will address issues of global gender inequality and relate it to Central Coast women. Andrea Zeller of Women’s Business Partners will speak on income opportunities and money management. Carmela Vignocchi of Consumer Credit Counseling Services will discuss credit ratings. Mary Verdin of Verdin Marketing Ink will address consumerism and spending. Vivian Hanover of Primerica Financial Services will discuss wise retirement investments. And Jean Steel of Wellness Works will address how you can best take care of you. The combination of massage therapy and chiropractic care addresses pain on many levels. Dr. Sandy Sachs of the Health in Motion Chiropractic Center in San Luis Obispo has incorporated his experiences as an exercise physiologist, massage therapist, chiropractor and athlete to develop a health care program that maximizes health and minimizes the potential for injury and disease. Sachs complements the adjustment with both passive and active modalities. “My goal is to empower my patents to take control of their care,� Sachs says in a press statement. “By doing this, patients get better faster and do not have to come to me forever for the same problem.� The center is currently excepting new patients.
