While local headlines have been concentrating on SLO Symphony and its artistic/personnel struggles, Festival Mozaic has been quietly preparing for the arrival of 86 classical musicians hailing from top professional orchestras and chamber ensembles.

The Festival Mozaic summer event celebrates its 45th anniversary this July with concerts, free open rehearsals, master classes, fancy dinners, and an outdoor family concert. 

The festival, which includes more than 20 events in almost every corner of the county, starts July 16 and runs through July 26. Check out the full schedule at festivalmozaic.com.
