4TH OF JULY IN THE VILLAGE—ARROYO GRANDE
brings a band concert to the historic downtown in the “gazebo” near the beautiful creek on July 4, 1-3 p.m., on downtown Arroyo Grande’s Short Street between Olahan and Branch. Info: 473-2250.

4TH OF JULY—FIREWORKS IN MORRO BAY: Enjoy a day of family activities, then stay for a fireworks display at dusk on July 4, time TBD, at Tidelands Park, on the south end of Embarcadero. Info: 772-4467.

4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS—PISMO BEACH: Live bands entertain until 9 p.m., then it’s fireworks time on July 4, from 2-9:30 p.m. Info: 773-4382.

4TH OF JULY SAND SCULPTURE CONTEST AND FIREWORKS come to downtown Cayucos. A parade through downtown starts at 10 a.m., fireworks start at dusk, a sand sculpture contest begins at 5 a.m. and runs till 10pm in downtown Cayucos, near the pier. Info: 995-1200 or cayucoschamber.com.

INDEPENDENCE DAY PICNIC IN THE PARK CELEBRATION—CAMBRIA: Enjoy entertainment, prizes, food, and a fireworks display over the ocean at dusk on July 4 in Shamel Park from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Info: 927-5010 or cambriachamber.org.

4TH OF JULY AT MERIDIAN WINERY invites guests to dance the night away while they listen to live music by the Sugar Daddy Swing Kings. Bring low-back lawn chairs and blankets and settle in for a fireworks display over the vineyards. Picnic dinners, ice cream, and wine will be available for purchase.
