Now is the time when females go into heat and tomcats roam, so please do all you can to get your own cat or that neighborhood stray fixed, and spread the word about our program to your neighbors and friends. We are here to help!

The Feline Network has cat spay/neuter certificates available for individuals with financial need who live in the city of San Luis Obispo, the South County areas, and the coastal communities of Morro Bay and Los Osos. We are not able to provide certificates to residents of the North County at this time.

The certificates will have a value of $60 toward a spay and $40 a neuter until April 1 as an incentive for people to spay/neuter their cats before kitten season. These can be obtained by calling 549-9228, Ext. 707. The certificates are accepted at all vet clinics in the county. Call soon, since we have a limited number of certificates.

We are offering these special certificates in conjunction with Spay Day USA, a campaign sponsored by the Humane Society of the United States to shine a spotlight on spay/neuter as a proven method of saving the lives of many animals. After April 1, certificates will be reduced to their regular value of $45 per spay and $25 per neuter.
