Giving back: Must! Charities has announced a new $500,000 partnership with the El Camino Homeless Organization, which does an awesome job serving all of north San Luis Obispo County. The half-million dollar partnership is the largest community gift made by the nonprofit, which aims to share the wealth of the wine industry with families in need. Want to get involved? Go to echoshelter.net ... Often referred to as a barbecue or party style wine, zinfandel isn't always given the credit that it's due. Thanks to Paso's Zinfest coming up this March 17 through 19, the zesty grape can add another accolade to its roster. This year's event will feature master sommelier Peter Neptune, who will be moderating the Zinposium, as well as a super cool Z after-party (learn more at pasowine.com).

Mix it up! Black Ty Brewing Co. of San Luis Obispo is making DIY mimosas easier than ever to craft at home. The company makes all of its syrups in house, using real fruit juice and pure cane sugar.
