This collaborative brand, founded by vintners Brian and Johnine Talley, features many players in the local wine industry. Everything, from the labels and bottles to the grapes and winemaking, is donated so that all proceeds go directly to the charity for farm workers and their families. A blend of Malbec, Syrah, and Petite Sirah, vintner Brian Talley said: “This is one of the best we’ve made.” The wines were donated by Talley, Ranchita Canyon (San Miguel), and Sinor-LaVallee. This vintage offers an impressive wine with intense flavors of blackberries, boysenberries, black cherries, and spice, that’s well balanced and quite drinkable alone. It’s a good choice for grilled tri-tip or sausages, pizza, a burger, or roast beef. It’s currently available at Talley Vineyards for $16 retail.
