May God have mercy on Annette Funicello

Reading about the sad death and passing of Annette Funicello, a former Mouseketeer and actress, due to the complications of MS, made me realize how important it is now to find a cure to this devastating, life-taking disease.
Annette had progressive multiple sclerosis, meaning her symptoms kept on coming and became elevated and worse over a long period of time. I also hope that God shows his mercy on this beloved Disney legend, that she would be in heaven, no longer suffering MS—that she accepted Jesus into her heart before her death.
MS affects 350,000 people in the United States, and an unknown number in the world. Two-thirds of the sufferers are women, and the age at which a male or female can have that disease is between 20 and 50. There are four different types of MS that I have gathered the facts on.
In closing, my heart just breaks over Annette Funicello’s death, and we will greatly miss her. But I hope that research done to treat the other people who have MS and improve their lives with newfound treatments will save lives that would otherwise be destroyed.
