Now theater patrons can take in a show anywhere from the most southern part of San Luis Obispo County to the most northern.
While Central Coast Theater Works is a brand new theatre group in Nipomo, its debut production is a truly timeless holiday classic. CCTW, an offshoot of Nipomo Recreation, will bring Joe Landry’s vibrant It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play to life Dec. 4 and 5 at Dorothea Lange Elementary School in Nipomo.
The group’s first cast will be under the direction of local theater veteran and Nipomo resident Angi Herrick.
“I am so honored to be the first director for Central Coast Theatre Works,” Herrick said. “Nipomo is my home, and it has been without a theater group for nearly a decade. I wanted to bring a very special production to my neighbors.”
Tickets cost $5 to $10, and can be purchased at brownpapertickets.com.
