As the final send-off for their 100-year anniversary celebration and to help kick off the next 100  years, the Paso Robles City Library asks for your help in providing 100 new books for its collection. A giving tree near the library circulation desk has been decorated with miniature book ornaments, representing new titles the library needs.

Giving is simple: choose a book ornament from the tree and bring it to the library circulation desk with your donation check for either $25 (if it’s an adult book) or $20 (if it’s a children’s book) made out to the “Paso Robles Library Foundation.” A label on the back of each ornament provides space to list the name of the person to whom you would like the book to be dedicated. The Paso Robles City Library is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It’s located at 1000 Spring St. Giving-tree donations will be accepted through December 31. Info: 237-3871.
