We need a 4th District supervisor with common sense, the ability to simplify problems, who follows through and completes the work, and is an advocate for all. This requires the ability to remain neutral, hear all sides of an issue, build bridges of co-operation/communication between various departments, and unify all parties in accomplishing the common goal. A longtime resident who is familiar with the wants and needs of the communities is critical.
Paul Teixeira, a SLO county native, is a Lucia Mar School Board Trustee and is involved with many issues and making tough budgetary decisions. As a County Parks and Recreation commissioner, he works closely with the 4th District supervisor in community relations, budget considerations, and development issues. As operations manager for a large company, Paul has experience finding effective and efficient solutions to complex problems. Identifying, simplifying, and solving problems is what Paul Teixeira does.
Paul maintains community involvement by volunteering and working to help others. His memberships have included the Cub Scouts (charter member), Salvation Army, Rotary Club (president and fundraiser chair), Dana Adobe Advisory Board, Nipomo High School Ag Friends, Chambers of Commerce (Nipomo, Arroyo Grande), and Jack’s Helping Hand for special needs children.
If you want a supervisor with nothing to hide, who cares, is available, listens, is experienced, and is a guy who get things done, Paul Teixeira is your man. I have known him for 20 years and he is an honest and ethical man who will serve you well.
