Pewter Plough presents 'Steel Magnolias'

Salon gossip is the best gossip! The Pewter Plough Playhouse present’s Steel Magnolias, the classic comedy-drama centered around six Louisiana women who share their lives, joys, and sorrows every week at Truvy’s Beauty Salon. 

Playwright Robert Harling based the show on the lives of his mother and sister and the stories he heard as a child about their best friends. Get in on all the juicy emotions beginning with a preview night this Aug. 21.

Directed by Kelli Howard, the play features Janine Elich, Sharee Hallmann, Janice Peters, Christina Fountain, Cika P. Cook, and Beth Marshall. The show runs Aug. 21 through 30 and Sept. 4 through 20. Tickets are $22 and $17 for students.
