I’m a Republican who is voting for Tim Covello for county district attorney. I know, you must be thinking so what about being a Republican, this is a non-partisan position! You are correct. However, some people are trying to make it partisan by telling other Republicans who are in office or are prominent business people to withdraw their support for Tim Covello.

I think that is outright wrong, and it should be brought out into the light! Please study the candidates and make a choice based on job experience in the DA’s office, leadership experience in the DA’s office, and personal integrity.

Tim is not involved with the lawsuit with the county regarding his salary, and he has not run for any office in the past, so he is a true district attorney, not a politician.

I’ve made the comparison, and I’m voting for Tim Covello.
