In response to Mr. Bob Cuddy blaming the NRA for the gun violence in this country (“Do it today,” May 26), I disagree with him. The NRA works to make sure the honest people keep their constitutional rights to have guns. I don’t have a problem with background checks to purchase guns but no matter what laws you have, there will always be someone breaking them. Maybe we should strongly enforce the current laws and have stiffer penalties for the criminals that break the law. The real people responsible for all the shootings are the parents who brought these people into this world and didn’t raise them up right. This is as ridiculous as blaming gun makers and the NRA for it. The people who do the shooting are the ones responsible for their actions.
