It must be summer. How do I know? Well, Santa Margarita’s free annual Art Before Dark bash is coming up June 27. From 6 to 9 p.m., join painters, potters, glass artists, sculptors, stitchers, musicians, and other makers for a blocks-long tour of communitywide creativity.
Stop by The Rainbow Hut Studios, The Porch Cafe, Something Blue, The Educated Gardener, and Dunbar Brewery, all of which will feature works from local artists like Jennifer Blue, Sarah Burke, Dan Clevenger, Pete Evans, Peg Grady, Emily Jagger, Guy Kinnear, Susan Mathiesen, Dave Montgomery, Bill Mulder, Sue Nolte, Heidi Petersen, Ava Werner, Mandy Weathers, and Mae Wilson.
Allow Melinda Forbes and the Ragtime Artgroup to serenade while strolling El Camino Real. Oh, and don’t forget to stop by Dunbar Brewing’s new facility, which will remain open after 9 p.m. for an after-hours party. Cheers to the beauty of Santa Margarita!
