Grown in a unique, special little vineyard in south SLO County, it’s not far from Laetitia. This wine continues to develop and tastes better each time I’ve tried it over several occasions. A complex wine with definite ripe notes of blackberries, black cherries, and plums, it’s nicely nuanced with notes of spice and earth. A lovely wine that tastes great alone, and it’s perfect for a special dinner party paired with filet mignon, pepper crusted ahi, or grilled quail. Clearly this outstanding Pinot will improve over the next 5 to 10 years.
