Dying to get your hands dirty? SLO MakerSpace is holding its annual expo for all the artistically inclined. All ages and types of crafters are welcome. This event aims to bring in artists, inventors, techies, tinkerers, explorers, recyclers, and dreamers alike. Your imagination should shout: “If you can dream it, you can do it!” as you consider your wildest creations.
SLO MakerSpace offers creative people the space and tools that they need to make anything their hearts desire. They provide woodworking materials, welding classes, ceramics classes, sewing, and much more with their paid memberships. For this expo, local artists and hobbyists will be exhibiting their work, and there will be interactive events. You don’t have to be a professional to make something special. Your amateur interest will do just fine! Ingenuity is warmly welcomed and enthusiasm is cherished. Whether you come by yourself, with a friend, or with children, you’ll get a golden opportunity to create something that will be admired. Makers and doers have nothing to lose.
This event will be held on May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mission Plaza and at SLO Makerspace from 5 to 8 p.m. For more info, visit slomakerspaceexpo.com or email [email protected].
