Holidays in the Pines is an annual event taking place through Dec. 23 in the small, delightful village of Cambria. What better way to do the holidays up right in the traditional sense? This tiny hamlet is decked out with lights, festive events, decorations, deals, and discounts. Where the pine-studded knolls unfold along a breathtaking shoreline, many of Cambria’s shops will offer complimentary gift-wrapping, refreshments, extended hours, and door prizes. In addition, a festive scavenger hunt, raffle, lighting contest, tree auction, theater productions, sing-along, children’s party, and choral productions will be sprinkled throughout the village.

While you’re there, head over to the Pewter Plough Playhouse where they present their annual holiday musical, Have A Hart: The Life and Music of Lorenz Hart through Dec. 31, with a special added performance on New Year’s Eve at 8 p.m. including a party in the Pewter Plough Cafe with musical entertainment, champagne, and a buffet dinner. The Playhouse is located at Main Street at Sheffield in Cambria’s West Village. Info: 927-3877 or boxoffice@pewterplough playhouse.org.

“Our unique shops, quaint, historic buildings, friendly merchants and enchanting scenery always lend themselves to the holiday season,” said Mary Ann Carson, Director of the Cambria Chamber of Commerce. “This year, we continue that ambiance with an extraordinary holiday experience.”
