Sneaky sneaky

Put on your trench coat and thickest, darkest sunglasses. WineSneak has snuck its way into a newly designed 2,800-square-foot building near the San Luis Obispo Airport. Located across from the airport in the Airport Business Park, the new wine bar, tasting room, and retail outlet will offer up both shopping and chilling potential. Sure, owners Ash Mehta and Lissa Hallberg aim to capture the eye of nearby air travelers, but locals are more than welcome to belly up to the bar, too. The pair knows how to combine a lounge-type atmosphere with Central Coast wine you'd like to actually buy/gift/hoard. They opened their first wine bar in Solvang (which they later sold), followed by a Pismo location on Price Street about eight years ago. In 2015, the duo opened Taste in the Alley behind Artisan restaurant in Paso Robles, now a local fave. Whether you seek bottles, customized gift packs, wine by the glass, or a wine club shipment mailed to wherever your little heart desires, this cheeky wine powerhouse can probably handle it. After all, the Pismo location was named one of the Top 20 Wine Bars in America by Wine Enthusiast! Surprised? Well, that's to be expected.
