This delightful white is atypical for this flavorful variety, and it’s a great buy. Organically farmed, it’s 100 percent Gewurztraminer, offering pretty stone fruit and citrus aromas and flavors, with a subtle thread of spice. It’s slightly sweet, but you won’t notice because it’s so well balanced by lemon and lime notes. Winemaker Joy Anderson said it’s a great choice for Asian stir-fries, and I’d recommend it with a salad of nectarines or peaches, walnuts, rotisserie chicken, and baby lettuces, with a mild vinaigrette. It’s only $12 retail at BevMo! or Snoqualmie.com.
