Grown in a very special site in Edna Valley, these grapes live in a vineyard adjacent to Kynsi Winery, which also makes a vintage Stone Corral Pinot Noir. This beautiful, deeply-hued, complex Pinot Noir is impressive and a must for marking a special occasion. Lovely aromas and flavors of ripe blackberries, plums, cranberries, and black cherries, it’s nicely woven with exotic spice notes and earth. Full-bodied with moderate tannins, this vintage will age at least a decade and reward you for waiting. That’s if you can wait. If not, choose this when you’ve invited guests to a special dinner party or you’re announcing the news to your future father-in-law. Now it’s only available in magnum (the size of two 750/ml bottles), but you’ll be glad you have more after tasting this fabulous Pinot. It’s $82/magnum at the tasting room.
