This delicious and versatile white wine is a great choice for holiday feasts. Beautifully made, it offers a cornucopia of fruit aromas and flavors. It was entirely fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain the refreshing notes of sweet pears, nectarines, apricot, and citrus, all nicely balanced by notes of melon, spice, and minerals. Winemaker Christian Roguenant recommends it with rich seafood and dishes with a little spicy heat. I’ll enjoy it with my savory dishes on Thanksgiving, like roast turkey and dressing. Paragon is a SIP (certified sustainable) vineyard, farmed under the highest standards. The Niven family is committed to environmental stewardship. This is an excellent buy at $18 retail for its quality, available at the Baileyana/Tangent tasting room in Edna Valley, and at Spencer’s in Arroyo Grande.
