We need a 4th District supervisor with common sense, the ability to simplify problems, is an advocate for the community, and who follows through and completes the work. This requires the ability to remain neutral, hear all sides of an issue, build bridges of cooperation and communication between various departments, and unifying all parties to accomplish a common goal. A long-time resident who is familiar with the needs of the area is essential.
Paul Teixeira, a SLO county native, is a Lucia Mar school board trustee who’s involved in many issues and makes tough budgetary decisions. As a County Parks & Recreation commissioner, he works closely with the 4th District supervisor in community relations, budget considerations, and development issues. As the operations manager for a large company, Teixeira is experienced at finding effective and efficient solutions to complex problems. Identifying problems, simplifying them, and solving them is what Paul Teixeira does. I have known him for 20 years and know he is an ethical man who would serve the district well.
