Learn how to expertly paint the landscape of the human face on July 25 at The Art of Makeup Workshop with Jenn Hix at Studios on the Park in Paso Robles.

The event is from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will bring their own makeup and tools and learn how best to use them to highlight their own unique features. Hix, a professional makeup artist, will start with the basics and build from there.

"It's such an individual thing," Hix said of makeup. "We are all made so different and beautiful, and that's what I love about makeup—it's about following your own natural curves of the face and pigments to really shine and be whoever you want to be."
