In your Summer Guide (May 19), you ran the ad for the play Yours, Anne, a musical about the diary of Anne Frank.
What you might not have known is that this play was not intended to pay homage to the survivors of the Holocaust, nor to the more than six million Jews who perished, nor even to honor and respect Anne Frank.
What this play was about was trying to capture an audience and tell them that the Holocaust is tied to abortion rights, and therefore freedom of choice—or pro-choice—is genocide.
We were angered and extremely hurt by this blatant portrayal of total disregard for human rights protected by the law and common decency.
You have a pretty liberal following reading this paper. How did this get by you?
