So Meg Whitman wants us to believe her when she says she didn’t knowingly employ an undocumented worker?
Sounds more like, “I did not have labor relations with that woman!” as she points into the camera.
Apparently she fired the woman in 2009 but waited until it was discovered to tell Californians that she had employed her. If it was an honest mistake, why not come clean voluntarily when she supposedly found out and show her integrity? She’s had more than a year—a year of relentless scolding of others for not checking employees’ immigration status.
One would almost think this is a karma rebate for her refusal to pull the ad lying about Brown’s tax policies, budget deficit, and job losses when he was governor.
