Who are you to judge?

Ms. Zimmerman (“Why would you let this guy write?” March 1) and Willingham (“New Times hit another low,” Feb. 16), who do you think you people are? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to call someone a “narcissistic psychopath” is over the line. How dare you sling mud in Mr. Navarro’s eyes in an attempt to become self righteous at his expense!

All that he has done is shown both sides of the coin and given the community an insight into the daily life of an individual who has had the misfortune of being incarcerated in county jail.

Please, for everyone’s sake, come down from your throne and search inside your closed and narrow minds and find at least a glimmer of empathy. Obviously, you have never had a loved one incarcerated. All of the crimes that were so cleverly listed that he supposedly committed are mere allegations and nothing more.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Navarro, and he is a very kind and caring person who would help anyone if given the opportunity. Just because you do not like reading his essays doesn’t mean that other, equally active members of the community do not either. If you don’t like it, then don’t read it, plain and simple.

Name calling and comparing him to a recipe for making meth is absurd, and you should be ashamed of yourselves. There is only one who can judge Roman Navarro, and, no matter how much you think you are, you are not God.
